Quite high entrance fee but worth every penny!
Is an amazing place with gorgeous views. We took long walks (others might call it hikes) and enjoyed every minute.
My cell phone was out of reach. There is a small cost to enter the park and you have access to the Cape of Good Hope , Cape Point and also bathrooms .. , the funicular was not working, so we walked. It’s quick and easy , I recommend arriving early, before lunch and going first to the top and then going down ... pets are not allowed, I recommend not leaving food visible, baboons are crazy about industrialized food..
I saw zebras and ostriches only ..
If you are visiting cape Town, one of the things I would definitely recommend is taking a trip to the cape of good hope....you could book a ticket with the city tour bus or perhaps hire a car. I enjoyed the trip there using the tour bus, as there were such great views on the way:buildings ,beaches, mountains, beautiful flowers as you drive through the national park and perhaps spot some wildlife too,. It's an all day activity if you are using the bus as you make another stop on the way to see the penguins...at the final stop, there is a lighthouse which gives spectacular views of the cape as you also get to see where the 2 oceans meet, then you either take a little hike down to the actual cape or use the bus(vehicle) to reach the cape(with the "cape of goodhope sign)..to reach the lighthouse, there is also a short hike up, but nothing too hectic,it's manageable for anyone without medical conditions
